Wonga needs no introduction, as a (former) leading name in the personal lending industry – and whose TV ads were unforgettable for all the wrong reasons! They approached DemandMore back in early 2018 with the challenge of working with their current in-house team to scale up lending applications, while improving the quality of the applications to drive increased revenue from their paid media activity.
We worked with Wonga on a consultative basis, with some ad hoc account building thrown in. First of all we had to make the case to the senior management team of the benefits that a more fine-tuned approach to Google Ads could bring, as well as improved brand protection. We then worked closely with their digital marketing team to train up their PPC skillset, built them some shiny new Google Ads campaigns, and taught them how to get the most out of them. We also helped them set up a tailored solution to like their CRM to their paid media accounts to get customers LTVs linked back to the Google Ads keywords through which they originally visited.
